Hotel Hanza Gdansk, Gdansk

I was thrilled by the room overlooking the river - the main reason I chose this hotel. It offered a nice surprise with a view over the channel. The service was top-notch, with welcoming and helpful staff who went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. The location in the Old Town along the canal was superb for sightseeing, although I would recommend a river-facing room. The dining experience was excellent, but a bit overpriced compared to other local options. Overall, a great stay with some minor cons.

I felt like I was sleeping underground with no balcony in the beautiful and spacious rooms. The extraordinary view of the canals from the balcony made my city break even more special. However, the leaking bathroom and non-working minibar were a letdown.
